I too have been enjoying this letter series! Andd the mention of the Blue Moon and the now defuct Renegade brings lots of summer lovin to this broad! We still go a couple times every summer and the Blur Moon is still the place for happy hour. And you have to love letters that change to sincerely eventally don't you.

The tone of this letter is SO very different from the previous letters. Could you see this at the time or did you not want to see it? I know that in looking back on past relationships, I really didn't want to see some things that were quite obvious to other people. Yep "Sincerely" is a dead give away

I like reading this 'letters' series, but its also hard to read at times. Certain phrases that you use, or specific things that happen completely remind me of a time in my life when I felt the same thing. The feeling of losing someone you love because of distance is devastating.

Hello Corey,
I miss letters too, very much. Before my husband and I became a couple we were very good friends already. 1996 he moved to London and I was still in germany...and we started to write one letter a day. What a joy to walk to the mailbox in the morning and find a new envelope, opening it and reading the handwritten thoughts. Our relationship grew due this letters. Now that we are married since 8 years we still love to go back and read these letters, we treasure them and they will never get lost through a crashed harddrive, they are real and I so love this.
